Back in the Hills: Brian Houston’s meetings in Sydney sell out

Brian Houston at James River Assembly, August 2022

Within a day of Brian Houston announcing a meeting in Sydney’s Castle hill, the tickets were sold out.

“Bobbie and I are looking forward to connecting, fellowshipping, and enjoying community with you at the Pioneer Theatre in Castle Hill on Wednesday, 9th November at 7pm,” he posted

“Bobbie will share and I will preach, and we pray people will be blessed, and God will be Glorified.

“Great things start with small beginnings!”

“We’d love to see you – click on the link below to register for free tickets – but numbers are limited!”

Within two hours the free tickets were all gone. Houston has added another meeting. “we have decided to move our existing meeting a little later – it now starts at 7.30 pm – and we have added another time on the same night, beginning at 5.30 pm.”

Tickets are available at https://events.ticketbooth.com.au/…/an-evening-with…Brian Houston

“Don’t forget, if you can’t join us in person, we’d love to have you connect with us via the live stream, which will be on both our Facebook pages as well as my Instagram page,” he added.

The comment in the first announcement “Great things start with small beginnings!” suggests that this is intended as more than one-off meetings. However, Houston also faces his trial, over three weeks starting in. early December.

The Pioneer Theatre is a “350+ seat adjustable performance space” according to its website. Brian Houston is back in a theatre owned by the hills shire. He’s used their performance spaces before.
