Wandering bookseller’s flood sale

Blue Mountains bookseller, The Wandering Bookseller, is running a “flood sale,” simply because they have been flooded. Having moved across an alleyway in Katoomba, they have been confronted by a leaking roof.

“The new home to The Wandering Bookseller (opposite The Little Lost Bookshop) flooded this week, with leaks coming under the walls in three different places. This comes just after we relocated all our Christian books from the KCC Bookshop building (which has also flooded in the past) to the new shop at the end of last month.

“The good news is that most stock was on shelves and was not water-damaged. The bad news is that – yet again – we are playing a seemingly never-ending game of musical bookshelves!

“So, we have devised a plan and need your help, please…”

The plan is a sale.

And their latest email reads: “Thankyou to everyone who has placed an order in our flood-saleThe sale continues this week.

We have been cleaning rugs, clearing out the kitchen – where we found another leak. We want to clear the bookshelves as much as possible within the next week so we can clean everything properly and make sure there is no hidden dampness where mould might grow.

Everything left in stock is now 30% off

“Re-stocking soon” books are now 20% off

So go to their URL and order the Christian book you have been wondering about.

No need to say The Other Cheek sent you because we have no commercial relationship with them. We just admire their get-up-and-go.
