Alleged death threats and an alleged home invasion of the Cobbitty property of Pastors Andrew, Noline Martin and Millicent Sedra of Echo Church in south-west Sydney have raced around the Christian Media, including Daystar TV and Premier Christian News in London and Vision Radio in Australia. But The Other Cheek can reveal there is at least one competing narrative suggesting the protesters were former attendees at Echo Church.
The key edited video clips shared by the Sedras have “we are coming for you” and “I know where you live and I’ll be at your doorstep every night.” I will take you motherf– ker down” and “I will kill you”
But a longer clip seen by The Other Cheek has this in a calmer tone: “Millicent and Noline we are here, and if you want to escape this f–king circus, we are here if you want to come to us.”
This raises the possibility that the protestors want to “rescue” the women in the house. They feel Echo church is not a safe place for them.
A longer version of the “kill” comment has “If you ever ——ed my daughter like that i will kill you.” Which could be a warning to make sure women and girls are well treated and protected at the church.
The Other Cheek is not suggesting that either narrative is the truth, only that we have limited evidence and that the videos surfacing on the net can be viewed in more than one way.
The police report does not favour one or the other version. Officers attended a home in Sydney’s south-western suburbs, shortly before 8.30 pm on Thursday, 3 September 2026, after reports of a disturbance. Officers issued move-on directions to four people. Police said three complied, while a 39-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly failing to do so.
Police said they were later informed that the woman allegedly threatened occupants of the home. The woman has since been served with a Future Court Attendance Notice. She is scheduled to appear before Picton Local Court on 22 October 2026.
Christian media carried Andrew Sedra’s allegation that a group of “LGBT activists” threatened them at their home. However, nothing in any video The Other Cheek has seen substantiates that.
